KFSR Completes Second Broadcast Power Increase in 2025
Fresno State broadcast radio station KFSR (90.7 FM) increased its broadcast power from 4500 watts to 7000 watts Dec. 31, significantly improving signal saturation within its licensed broadcast service area. With the increased power, listeners in the station’s broadcast area will experience improved reception. The power increase marks the second enhancement to KFSR’s broadcast signal in 2025. It follows a major broadcast infrastructure upgrade completed Jan. 1, which replaced key components including the station tower, antenna and transmitter. Later developments revealed an opportunity to further increase the station’s power. (Click headline for full press release.)
